Recipe: Chia Hibiscus Cooler

This is a specialty cold drink that we make at our shop, but you can make it at home too! It's amazingly refreshing and hydrating, and incredibly healthy!

RECIPE (makes 2 16-ounce cups, or 4 8-ounce cups):

Steep 2 tablespoons of your favorite hibiscus tea (I recommend the Blueberry Hibiscus!) in 1.5 cups of boiling water for 10 minutes (use less time for a milder flavor). Remove the tea leaves, add 2 cups of ice cubes, and stir. Add 3-4 tablespoons of chia seeds and stir well. Stir again after a few minutes. Let sit for an hour, stirring frequently. The chia seeds will absorb the tea and become jelly-like and chewy! To serve, stir again, pour into an awesome mason jar, add a little ice, and drink with a straw!

This recipe can easily be scaled up or altered - try it with other types of tea! Keep in mind that green and black teas have shorter steeping times. Add more tea leaves for more flavor.
